FOLDING GUITAR OWNER JEFF COHEN FEATURED ON ABC's “SHARK TANK” TURNS DOWN $.5 MILLION FROM THE SHARKS!

For Immediate Release

FOLDING GUITAR OWNER  JEFF COHEN FEATURED ON ABC's “SHARK TANK” TURNS DOWN $.5 MILLION FROM THE SHARKS!

Nashville’s Savannah Music Group and Voyage-Air Guitar CEO, Jeff Cohen, appeared on the ABC Network TV show “Shark Tank” Sunday, August 23rd -

Nashville, TN - Livermore, CA (08-31-09) - Jeff Cohen, CEO of Voyage-Air Guitar, was featured Sunday on ABC's new prime-time reality television show "Shark Tank." From Mark Burnett (executive producer of "Survivor" and "The Apprentice") and Sony Pictures Television comes "Shark Tank," an exciting new reality show that gives entrepreneurs the chance to make their business dreams come true and become successful and possibly wealthy. But the entrepreneurs must first try to convince five tough, multi-millionaire tycoons to part with their own hard-earned cash and give them the funding they need to jump-start their ideas. These savvy multi-millionaire investors witnessed the extraordinary Voyage-Air folding guitar "LIVE" on Network TV for the first time last Sunday night, while CEO Jeff Cohen revealed the features and benefits of the Voyage-Air in front of an estimated 20 Million viewers!

The last entrepreneur of the evening to make the long walk into the Shark Tank was serial entrepreneur Jeff Cohen, accompanied by his son Josh, to solicit $500,000 for 5% of Voyage-Air Guitar. After choking on these numbers, the Sharks perked up when they saw what the guitar could do: fold in half and fit into a backpack for travel. Cohen, CEO of the company that owns the patent, soon tangled with the Sharks over the company's estimated value. While Cohen stood firm on a value of ten million dollars, the Sharks were doubtful. Soon one of the Sharks bit: Cohen was offered a half million dollars by Kevin O'Leary for 51% of a new company that the two would create to acquire the hinge patents with one stipulation: that the new company license the hinge to other guitar companies. When Cohen asked point blank why he needed O'Leary's help licensing the hinge, O'Leary was quick to answer. "The company that I sold for $3.2 billion was all licenses," he said. Cohen stuttered, ".....Did... did you say 3.2 billion with a 'B' ?" O'Leary didn't blink: "YES I DID." Neither did Cohen.....as he confidently declined the offer. O'Leary fumed, "You're dead to me when you say 'no' to my deal." Even when Shark Kevin Harrington offered to come in as a dominant partner, estimating sales upwards of tens of millions of dollars, Cohen passed. With that, Jeff and his son, Josh, were gone. The last statement by Harrington defined the absolute value of Voyage-Air Guitar when he said "Voyage-Air Guitar could be a hundred million dollars on TV."

ABC’s Shark Tank episode with Jeff Cohen and the Voyage-Air Guitar created the highest viewer ship yet as reported by Nielson ratings.
